My Experience

I have experience working with individuals of all ability levels as I started my career as an inclusion specialist, and went on to work in special education and community-based counseling. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from ODU and I obtained my Master's in Social Work from Walden in 2023. These academic achievements set me apart because my knowledge of evidence-based practice is fresh and I continue to to be open to further professional development.

I am a motivated, genuine, and compassionate therapist who strives to support my clients with improving their lives through the use of psychotherapeutic interventions in an outpatient setting. I serve individuals of all ages and backgrounds, struggling in the areas of mental health who are ready for change. I understand that change can be scary and difficult, especially when we don’t know where to start. However, change can also be a good thing and often times is necessary to improve our current situations. I strive to take a solution focused approach to tackle the challenges you face along your new journey of life.
